A truck roof heats up when sunlight is absorbed. 3M™ Cooling Film is engineered to keep that from happening.
Two jobs, no power
It reflects. The film reflects more than 85% of solar radiation, so less of the sun’s energy ever becomes heat in the roof.
It releases. The film has over 91% thermal emissivity in the atmospheric window, which lets it shed heat naturally to the sky.
It lasts. A hard coat resists dirt, chemicals and wear, and 3M backs the reflectivity with a five-year warranty.
Roof only, on purpose
Cooling Film is a roof product. It is not window film and it is not a full-body wrap. That’s why 3M pairs it with window film for complete heat management, and why we can quote both together.
It installs with 3M Comply™ and Controltac™ adhesive technologies using familiar graphics tools, which keeps time off the road short.

We look at the vehicle and the roof surface, measure, and confirm the film is a fit before we quote.
Prep
The roof is cleaned and prepared so the film bonds properly.
Apply
The film is laid and finished the way graphics are, by installers who do this all day.
Inspect & hand back
We check the finished roof with you and give you the warranty details from 3M.
